It finally happened but oh well.

It happened for the first time in my life. I got into a minor fender bender. Dumb @$$ old fart backed into me in a parking lot and hit me on my right front and busted corner marker, grill, scratched chrome bumper, plastic bumper, plastic air dam, and headlight.

The worst feeling is I seen him backing towards me and I was trapped so all I do was STAND on the horn and he still hit me. Deaf old man said he didn't hear me HONK.

What can I do except jump for joy because no paint was damaged and I get all new front end pieces except for driver side headlight and corner marker. Everything else is scratched or damaged. Now if someone will rear end me I can get new back bumper.

Anybody ever heard the Johnny Cash song "One Piece At A Time"?

Guess I get to start all over with keeping the front end nice with some plastic polish and exterior protectant and chrome polish.

Sorry to hear of your mishap, sounds like the other person had insurance and no one was hurt...

Well no one was hurt, no paint matching required. I think it could of been a lot worse.

Yeah he was insured and I am waiting to get the work estimated. It actually worked out pretty good for me. I bought the truck used and the paint was great but the plastic had started to fade and the lights are a little hazy. Looks like they will look like new. I will probably replace the other headlight and corner marker so they match.
