Can I use quik detailer on a recently painted hood 1 week old?

I wouldn't. Unless the paint is factory, it will take something like 90 days to cure. You would risk scratching it.

Check with your painter to be sure though.

A Quick Detailer wont affect the outgasing 9curing) of the paint, though the Ultimate QD is not recomended.
