i know its a stupid question im sure but how can you tell if a vehicles finish has a clear coat?

When you apply wax to the vehicle if the color comes off on the applicator thats a pretty good indicator of SS paint without CC.

That has to be a cleaner/wax or a product with some abrasives in it. A product like #16 won't show indicate anything.Jim
