  • Viking Microfibers?

    Hi all,

Forgive me if I posted this in the wrong section so all of the mods here feel free to move it to the right location. I just came back from my local Kmart store and bought a 12-pack Viking Microfibers for only 5bucks I believe.

Now I open then up and they are not as thick as the cobra microfibers ive been using but they don't seem that bad and it looks like a good OTC microfiber.

Has any of you use these? Are they good or should I just return them back to the store? I kept my receipt just in case. Mike Phillips and everyone, thanks for your inputs!!!!

keep them, you can use them for door jams, interior work, etc. you can always take them back if you aren't satisfied and get the viking quick detailing or x-large mf drying towel that is alot thicker/softer...

Thanks for the reply but in addition to using them for interior work, I plan to use them as well for exterior work purposes. I want to use the new viking microfibers for wiping sealants and waxes off. Im pretty sure they are good for that as well, agree?

I use them for drying the car, the big yellow ones. They work great.

try them out, and if they work well with no ill effects on whatever it is that you need to use them for, then you are good to go!

The drying towel (green) and the thicker 3 pack are pretty nice towels. I'm not sure what other ones are sold at K-Mart.

About the best you can do, is try them to remove the wax in a test spot. If their is no ill effects, your okay. If they instill scratches or swirls then return them.

The green towel is 16x24 and dual nap. The yellow towel is 24x36 (close) and also dual nap. Kmart also carries the polish removal towel (3 pack of stretchy weave and not a nap). These are so so since they shriveled when washed in warm water !!
