  • NXT metal polish help

I just got a jar of the new NXT metal polish, I tried it on a chrome intake and it worked gtreat, I than tried a very small amount on a SS fuel rail cover (late model corvette), I noticed it left many fine scratches in the SS, how can I get rid of these?
I put a small amount on a foam pad and rubed until a black film appeared on the pad than buffed the SS part with a micro fiber towel.

sounds like the cover is a soft metal. I've used NXT metal polish on some non-clearcoated wheels with excellent results. You might try to apply the polish at 90 degrees from the direction of the fine scratches. Or experiment with a circular motion. Also, I remove the polish with a terry towel instead of microfiber.

Try to post a pic or 2 so I can get an idea of your area of problem. I've posted a pic of the wheels to show the potential of this new metal polish.

      Hi 3rdtoy,

I haven't heard of this so far, but I'll forward this to Mike Pennington and see what he has to say.
