  • Where does Color-X/Cleaner wax fit?

In the list of products for a basic detail:

    DACP, #82, #7 (#3, #9, #80, #81 etc), LSP

...where would the Consumer Cleaner Wax or Color-X fit into the picture? Would it replace one of the listed products, or fit in the middle of one of the steps??

Don, your list contains products that are cleaners, cleaner/polishers, polishes, or protectants (LSP's).

I believe ColorX is a 3-steps-in-1 product - cleaner/polisher/protectant. Useful for when you don't have time for the separate steps your list contains.

Like Alfisti mentioned, Color-X is more of an 'all in one' type of product that isn't really equivalent to any one product that you listed.

In my opinion, if one had to list a couple of products that it'd be comprable to, it would be similar to a #9/#26 or a #9/NXT.

So would #83/Color-X/LSP be a decent combination for a moderately neglected car or one that's only 'detailed' once a year at best?

Does anyone know where that cleaner/wax thread is?

All of the cleaner/waxes are listed in their cleaning ability.
