  • GC Rich Leather Spray Overspray

I convinced my friend that he could get great results with the GC Rich Leather Spray (Cleaner/Conditioner) but he was a bit unhappy. He was happy with the results except that, I guess he was a bit careless. He had most of the proper technique - trying to apply it to his towel before applying to the seats. His only comment was he wished Meguiar's had a leather cleaner/conditioner that was not a spray, which I informed him they in fact do.

On to the problem, so he has overspray on his door panels. that has been like this for about a week. I have some other Meguiar's products (APC+ and Quik Interior Detailer (QID)).

    1. Will it cause staining on his door panel? I believe it is vinyl and plastic.

    2. Will APC+, QID or even water remove the leather spray?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't believe it should stain. Use Meguiar's Gold Class Vinyl/Rubber Protectant and you should be fine.

I also do not think it will stain. To be on the safe side, give it a good wipe down with the APC, then use the protectorant of choice on it. This should take care of it.
