  • Will using a car cover in the garage cause swirl marks?

I have a california car cover and was considering it's use on my garaged vehicle. I just washed, cleaned, polished, waxed the car and now will store it in the garage. I noticed it collecting dust in the garage. So I want to cover it without causing swirls.
If I use the cover will it cause swirls?

Also are woven car covers washable? How do i wash it? If I use it I don't want micro contaminants on it, right?

A quality car cover is as safe as you make it.

When you take it off, don't place it on the floor that's dirty.

When you put it on and take it off, have someone there to help you so you're not dragging it by yourself over the paint.

It's not the perfect solution but it can be done when you use some common sense. Barry keeps his black 1957 under a California Car Cover and I've never noticed it to become scratched due to the car cover but it's taken on and put on with care.

    Hope this helps...
