    Re: Another Newbie

Ok so I believe I will be purchasing the G110 in the next couple weeks. I am also probably going to be picking up some M80 and D151 if I can find it. The pads I will be getting will be 2 or 3- W8006 and 1 - W9006. Are there anything I'm missing guys???

Also, M80 would be applied before D151 correct? Or is it vice versa?

      Re: Another Newbie

I think M80 goes on first then D151. I think. I just started to use the pro products a month ago. maybe someone with a bit more experience with the pro products will chime in. You will definately like having a DA. after I bought my g100 it was great I will never go back to cleaning paint by hand.

Haha thanks. And yea, cleaning by hand *****, but at the same time it was "relaxing" for me because of the results. However, like I said before, I just don't have the time to do it anymore. This paramedic program and it's requirements are killing me haha.

Your paramedic program must be intense training. A friend of mine is going through the fire dept training and he said it is intense, Your training is probably double of fire dept training. I like your Bullitt. If i did not buy my Mach it would have been a 01 Bullitt. I agree by cleaning paint by hand was kind of relaxing and it got me out of the house to go accomplish something and it was rewarding. To see the hard work you put into it when it is all done.

            Re: Another Newbie

It is and it's not. It's just everything you have to do to fulfill the program requirements outside of class takes a toll when you have to work a job and still try to have a social life. It's hard sometimes. After this, my next step is to get my Fire II and start testing at departments. Hopefully everything goes well.

And thanks about the Bullitt. I'd still have that car but black ice on a -19 day totalled it. Worst day of my life. I was completely fine, just front bumper literally shattered and the frame hit the guardrail and popped the weld seam about an inch. I loved detailing that car. I got compliments everywhere I went with it. Like you said, the hard work that's put into the car pays off at the end when you can see your work was worth it.

                  Re: Another Newbie

Yeah you are right. Bullitts are great mustangs. A 01 Bullitt was my second mustang choice if I could not find a Mach. I like seeing that shaker move it sure is fun to watch it twitch. These machs are going to be collectors, Limited production and very rare to see them driving around.

The shaker is definately entertaining haha. And yes, you are right about the Machs being collectors. They're fun collectors though hahahaha.

Are you registered with the Mach1 Registry? It is a great site for all the new Mach1's. I have a question for you If you can look at the right front a pillar on the outside where the molding touches the roof if there is no paint there. I was detailing mine and under that lip in the the a pillar molding part of the roof was not painted. Mine has no black paint in that area very small area. I know my car was never in an accident because I bought it from the original owner. I was wondering if all Machs are like this. I am curious. I hope what I explained is clear enough.

Yes I am, same name and everything. Also, I looked at that portion of the car and mine has paint there. Kinda weird yours doesn't.

                          Re: Another Newbie

That is strange. It is weird I thought it was dirt in that area but it is not it was clear coat over primer. Like the Factory messed up when it went through the paint booth. That could be a possibility. Reason being is that I know it has never had a accident with it and it was garaged for two years with out moving. Thanks for the info you gave me. I am going to look into this.
Oh and I am on that Mach 1 registry too. My screen name is specialmach1
