Ok, so yes it happens sometimes despite being careful, a bit of glass cleaner overspray will get on the paint, or maybe the rag with some glass cleaner will accidently touch the paint.

Is this really bad? Does it remove all wax?

    Thanks!

Wiping a little glass cleaner overspray off of waxed paint happens everyday as people get overspray on the car, simply wipe it off gently and you and your paint will be okay.

It's not like your scrubbing glass cleaner over the paint in an effort to strip the wax off the paint.

If you're concerned at all about the integrity of the wax protection in that area simply apply a thin coating to the affected area and all will be back to normal.

That makes me feel better thanks. I also had thought of your idea of adding a bit of wax around those areas. Now that I use Meguiar's it doesn't happen very often. It was those aerosol ones that overspray happens more often I found.

Thanks so much. I feel bad when I post such a silly question, but I sure feel better after I get the answer.
