  • Quick Detailer is not Quik Detailer

a few days ago i went to the paint shop to see what new they have in stock and realize that when people speak about using Quick Detailer on a rotary buffer they mean using this

    not this

and i wonder why Meguiar's marketing use the same term (when spelled) to name different products ?

i know its very hard to damage paint using Meguiar's products as recommended... but can you image someone buffing Quik Detailer (mist and wipe) using a W-4000 wool pad at 1500 rpm's ?

Well you'd hope that someone would be smart enough to at least realize there's about a $20 price difference between the two products.

BTW both are great products. Quick Detailer is an awsome product when you are pressed for time too.

OUCH! I would hope they would have the brains to figure it out. First if they are using a rotary they need to have a clue to start with. You are riight there are all kinds of people out there and you just never know.

It is slightly confusing but, you must understand that they are from two different product lines within the Meguiar's line-up; the consumer line and the professional line.

Naturally, we discuss all of the above here and thus, it would be somewhat confusing I suppose.

Keep in mind, the folks over at Meguiar's typically don't call a product 'Quick Detailer'. They'll call it M-66 or or A-33. Which are the polish and spray respectively.
