For glass I use a chrome polish on a DA, works a lot better than by hand.

Without pics it would just be hit or miss guessing on our part. It could get really frustrating on your part buying 6-7 new products, Then when a picture pops up you get the definitive answer.

How about some pictures so we could have a better idea as to what the extent of the damage really is.

THE glass has swirls in it but only light ones, the acid rain has left little drips/fishscale look on the glass, you can feel it when you drag your nails over it and see it faintly in fluro light.
    looks like hell up close...lol

i was told a super fine steel wool but wanted advice before trashing the glass on a exotic japanese car. $$$$

    thanks

    Is the glass physically scratched?

acid rain etched Skyline R34 from japan

just imported a 2000 R34 GT-T Nissan Skyline from japan, in white with block and silver insides.
the big problem im having is the glass is etched on the outside from acid rains and someone using a green scour pad to try to remove it. , can anyone give me a hint on removing it without killing the glass further, already tried the auto glym glass polish, it was worthless.

also the flat surfaced on the hood and roof, rear wing and trunk have the same issues and im tired of testing everything , the megulars consumer products help but still wont cut thru it to make a good shine. mothers products didnt help either.
i do have a buffer and a megulars med cut im trying but it leaves lots of swirls and im afraid to cut thru the clear coat ,
the nxt line did wonders to the other parts look like glass, just not the acid etched parts.

    any help?

also is there any courses held in australia to learn auto detailing as a career. im in adelaide.
    THANKS IN ADVANCE
