I would be asking the dealer what treatment they used during pre delivery. that's a pretty strange thing to happen for a car only 6 weeks old.The Best Last Step, is the step backwards you take to admire your work!

Looks like whatever was protecting it washed away. They looked "dried" out. What products do you have in your arsenal?
Gold Class trim Detailer, All Season Dressing or M40 should work, M40 doesn't last as long as the GCTD or ASD in my experience.Philippians 2:14 - Do all things without grumbling or questioning,

Took the liberty of downloading the very large image you linked to and then cropping out the worst looking part,
If this is a brand new car and all you've done is wash it with our Gold Class Car Wash, then somethings wrong with the rubber. It looks old and stained instead of a crisp matte black appearance.
If it is stained, then applying a dressing may improve it but probably won't change the stained area back to it's original look.
Might want to check with the dealership where you purchased the car and let them know it's not acceptable.

Did you purchase the rust proofing package that the dealer sells?
When they under coat the car it gets over spray all over the vehicle. they then have to spray the whole car down with a solvent to remove it. I've never seen the solvent do anything like this but I guess it could be possible. At the very least we can narrow it down. To me it looks like the dealer used something they shouldn't have during the new car prep.
Take it back

I would still go to the dealer for the sake of documenting the complaint in case of warranty work.
#40 sounds like a good place to start.
What type of car is it? hard to tell from the pic.
