  • Question about Swirls in new vehicle paint...

I just bought a brand new Kawasaki Ninja 650R motorcycle, and picked it up a few days ago. Upon picking it up, I couldn't help but notice that the paint is full of swirls It really upsets me since it's my first brand new vehicle and I was hoping it would be years down the road before I had to worry about blemishes such as swirling. But am I wrong or what?! Maybe I should have learned to stay away from black based on my current black car... So I'm wondering what the absolute best way to eliminate them now and what I should do to prevent them from ever occurring again (probably my expectation's are set way too high, but I'm extremely fussy over keeping my vehicles clean and extremely shiny - I also expect nothing short of perfection of a brand new vehicle, though I'm tolerant of a few blemishes on an older vehicle).

So basically I use the same process as I use for my 10 year old car. I wasn't sure if it was slightly different given the vehicle's age of a mere 6 days.

Basically it's the same, maybe it's be easier to remove the swirls since it would be new it won't have as much.

Your best bet is to evaluate the to a test spot, once you can make a small section look good just duplicate the process on the entire bike.
