    Just different.

For your knowledge, Quik Detailer was the first "Mist & Wipe" type product introduced to the consumer market, that is it is the product that started the category that now everyone and their brother offers a similar product.

Quik Detailer was introduced in 1981 as Trigger Wash.

So no it's not "worse" than any of our other products, they're all building on the success of Quik Detailer and the 27 years of customer pleasing history this landmark product has created.

Only complaint I have on Last Touch is that it makes the paint so slippery that the tape doesn't stick to the car after I've clayed it.

Final Inspection was my favorite QD untill I used Last Touch for the first time. IMO, it has more "lubrication" and leaves a slicker surface. I actually like Last Touch better then UQD and I always get a slicker surface. Don't get me wrong, UQD is a fantastic product and I use it often on vehicals. I just feel Last Touch full strenghth gives me better results.

Wow. I sure want to try Final Inspection and Last Touch now.

For you guys that use Final Inspection and Last touch and can comment, how do you put the original QD? Do you very much dislike it?

Just curious as I had just bought a case. ha-ha. I use UQD mostly (i have two cases of it), but use QD for claying and if there was something dirtier or something.

I'll try Final inspection and Last touch eventually, but do you guys really dislike original QD, or is it more about the pricing, plus the bit better product in the pro ones too?

The original QD was a great product. I say was because Meguiar's has newer and better products out. Since you have some of the good stuff , use the QD for claying. Definitely give Last Touch a try. It's a fantastic product and nicely priced. Also check out Final Inspection. It's also a great product but I bet you'll like Last Touch better.

Since you can buy the Last Touch in the gallon size, it can be less expensive than multiple small bottles of the original QD.

Quik Detailer is still a great all around quick detailer and clay lube, it's not that it's any less of a mist and wipe product compared to our other mist and wipe products it's just that our other mist and wipe products offer more features when it comes to final finish quality.

Quik Detailer is the product that gave birth to the quick detailer category and it's the product that blazed the trail for ALL other quick detailer to follow down the trail.

It's good to have both Quik Detailer in your arsenal as well as a "Date Night" quick detailer too...

That is what Last Touch and other quick detailers were made for. Just spray and wipe. Or did you mean can you use Last Touch undiluted?

                          Re: Last Touch Spray Detailer

It's not really meant to be used as a wash replacement. I don't know if you've seen the waterless wash wording on the box but it states that it is not recommended to be used as a waterless wash on a heavily soiled car. Conventional wash recommended. I use last touch as as QD and very happy with it.
I know that what I'm going to recommend isn't a Meguiars product but due to our serious drought conditions and no other solution I use and recommend using ONR - Optimum No Rinse or DP 4 in 1 - Detailers Pride 4 in 1.
                          Cheers
