APC, Cleaner Degreaser, Brother's Damage

    APC, Cleaner Degreaser, Brother's Damage

    So my Brother took the Truck out to do stuff today because our other vechicle was in the shop for new tires and an oil change. He comes home and I find these scratches and scuffs on the Passager side of the Truck by the rear wheel. I tried Ultimate Quik Detailer, but that failed. So I went over to my stash of car products and thought my last hope is Bug and Tar Remover. I tried that and luckily the scuffs came out so it does not look terrible. I then used scratch X and NXT Tech Wax to finsih up and then another coat of Ultimate Quik Detailer. I think I have to finish up tomorrow during the day to do the last touch ups. I was wondering if you can use All Purpose Cleaner all around the interior and parts of the exterior of your car. I picked up some APC and I want to try it out, but I want to make sure that I do not screw anything up. Also can you use Cleaner Degreaser on your tires to remove tire wet? If not, what can you use, because I do not really have luck using tire cleaners.

      I use APC+ on virtually everything in the interior. I suggest mixing up some 4:1 ratio and 10:1 for more sensitive areas.

      Just use test spots, caution, and your brain and APC+ will be safe and yield amazing results.

        Very good advice.

        Have to dilutions levels ready to use,

        "Always use the least aggressive product to get the job done"

        and do a test spot to an inconspicuous area before using in the major areas...

          From your descriptoin and from this before photo, the right product for the job would be a paint cleaner like ScratchX or Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner. Follow with polishing, (optional) and a coat of wax.

          What Cleaner Degreaser are you referring to? A Meguiar's product or some other companies product?
