Does anyone use a foam applicator to apply the cleaner or a terry towel is good enough?

My car is brand new and I'm using the cleaner for the purpose of removing a previous carnauba wax and apply the tech wax

    Many thanks!

    Hi fpalattao,

Either a foam applicator or a piece of terry cloth towel will work. The terry cloth will make the cleaning action of the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner more aggressive. The foam applicator will be more gentle to your finish and much of the cleaning power will come from the chemical cleaners in the product.

the reason I'm only using the DC Step 1 is to get rid of existing carnauba wax. I dont have swirls so would you recommend using the foam applicator. But does it have enough "bite" to get existing wax off. Or be safe and use the terry towel.

      Thanks

I would tend to use foam for this. Just the act of pushing a foam pad with a creamy liquid product like the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner over the finish has a cleaning and polishing effect.

You should be just fine with foam.
