instead of washing

Got a quick question. Assuming you washed your car yesterday and then drove it after raining. Next day when I see my car I'm tempted to wash it. Even though its still reasonably clean with some dust and I guess some dirt near the side panels. Instead of washing the car is it safe just to use quick detail on it. Or is it better off to just rinse the car then quick detail it or totally wash the car?

For what it's worth, I have used Quik Detailer on my cars after it has rained if I have washed them the day before.

I guess it depends on how much dirt was in the air/rain? Always use common sense, let your heart be your guide.

indeed it depends on how bad the rain was and how much dust or other stuff left a nasty coat / film of dirt behind.. i am temped too to wash again..so i wash

i tried this just once but i noticed when i used a clean terry cloth towel or microfibre cloth that i do make some swirls.. so i choose to wash again...
