  • Shelf Life of products?

Hey everyone! I would just like to ask how long does Meguiar's products last before they "expire"? I have a gallon of #83 and #82 and I bought it because of the better value.. But I would probably not use it as much as the pro detailers.. Should I worry about it going bad? It's hot here too. TIA!

    Hi Bri,

Meguiar's products have a shelf like of 3-5 years as long as they don't freeze.

Damn!!! Only 3-5 yearS? Lol! I don't know if I would be able to use that in that period of time.. So, how would I know if it's bad or not? Thanks Mike.

Many of our products will keep much longer and work just fine as long as they don't freeze. We use the 3-5 year time span as a general and safe recommendation.

I know I have products from the 1940's that work just like they did the day they were poured into the glass bottles.

As long as the product looks like it has a uniform consistency after you shake it up, and no other irregular looking differences, it should be okay to use.

Thanks for the quick response Mike!

Well, I'm from AZ so there would be no problem with freezing!
