  • Steps for detailing a jet ski?

I've already purchased Premium Marine Wash and Premium Marine Wax. From reading some it appears I also need an oxidation remover and polish. Can you please tell me what order these products need to be used?

    I assume it is:

    Wash
    Oxidation Remover
    Polish
    Wax

    Is that right?

How old is the Jet Ski? Is the surface oxidized? If it is in good condition you can get away with Wash, Polish and Wax. If its oxidized you can use the oxidation remover.
If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.

Glad you made this thread, we have a Jet-Ski that I will be looking at detailing once we take it out of the water this fall.

Since its fairly new Ive been planning on using the marine cleaner wax and maybe topping that with the marine wax. All that stuff is kinda $$ so Im not sure yet.

I've got a 2005 SeaDoo RXP that has a good condition gelcoat, just lots of water spots.

I've also got a 1997 SeaDoo GTX that has a lot of oxidation on the underside of the hull. It definitely needs something to restore the deep color saturation.

I know West Marine stores carry the Marine & RV product line. They would be your best bet.

If not you can do a search:

Also, take a look at the new power cut compound. It's suppose to work very well.
