  • Which is less aggressive?

I am going to be detailing my sisters 11 year old Aurora, blue gray in color in a few weeks. My question is, which is less aggressive: 151, M2, or M83. The M2 I can get locally, the other 2 I will have to order. The car has been waxed some but that is about it. It has major swirls & scratches. It is a daily driver, sits outside, and my sister knows it will not be perfect, but she wants it to be better. I will be using a DA and I have M7 & M80 already. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    dvtldav,

From what I am reading here it seems that 151 is as aggressive as or slightly more aggressive than 83. I am sorry but I have no experience with M2. M2 is primarily made for single stage paint if my memory is correct. But it has been used with good success on BC/CC paint. If you could get it localy buy it and do a test spot to see if it gives you the desired results. 80 would be another product to due a test spot with. You could always order a sample of 151 from ADS and do another test with it. Once you have the process dailed in order what you need and have at it. Good luck and happy detailing.

It would be best if you could do a test spot with #80 before that, and see how it does, and see how much more agresive you need to be, if any,

        Hey Dave,

I have plenty of D151 and M83 if you would like some samples (save a bit on shipping).

Chris thanks for the offer, but I found some M83 locally & bought it. I will pass on the D151 until I place another order with ADS.
