  • Help with a new car

I need help! I just bought a new car and it has a very large dash. If I use protectant on it, it causes a glare on the windshield that drives me nuts.
Is there a protectant that does not make a shine and cause the glare?

Hi and welcome to Meguiar's Online!

You can get Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer , Meguiar's Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant or Meguiar's Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner.

These products will leave the surface with that satin clean look

I have the same problem with my car. I use #40 Vinyl & Rubber and Quik Interior Detailer but the thing I found that helps better than anything else is a pair of polarized sunglasses. They take out most of the glare which is what they're supposed to do. IMO they make a world of difference.

After using a interior protectorant, try waiting 20 minutes or so and take a clean microfiber and give the dash another wipe. This may knock down the finish a notch or two and reduce the glare.
        quality creates its own demand
