Another question, my manual from the car also says I should only use cotton cloths on the car and also not to use window cleaner on the inside back window due to delicate wire elements in the back window - has anyone seen that before?

Well, most of the manuals are written so absolutely nothing can be messed up.

Many people will use rough shop rags to clean their car, and wonder where the scratches came from. 100% cotton terry cloth or microfiber is the best thing to use.

I am sure the window thing is similar. Some folks probably will soak their window in a harsh cleaner and scrub like crazy with a rough rag, then wonder what happened to the defroster wires. A very light spray with a good glass cleaner and gentle wiping is all that is needed.

#21 2.0 Synthetic Sealant is very very similar to NXT Tech Wax 2.0

Both of these have NXT Tech Wax on them...






NXT Tech Wax and/or M21 is Meguiar's best protecting wax or paint sealant if you like that term better.

The trick to keeping your car looking like new isn't finding and using the Holy Grail of car waxes, it's getting together a plan to regularly wash and wax the paint and treat all the other components and surfaces that make up your car.

You need to examine how you "touch" the car's paint and do everything you can to always touch it using the best quality product you can find, that would include your choice of wash mitts, drying cloths, applicator pads and polishing cloths for wiping paint care products off the paint.

If we assume that a brand new car or a brand new paint job looks great and is scratch and swirl-free from day one, but when we walk through any parking lot and look at the paint on all the cars we notice they're all swirled out, we have to ask ourselves how did the paint get that way?

How did the paint go from scratch and swirl-free to a swirled out mess?

The answer is swirls and scratches are a result of how the paint was touched.

That's why if you really want to keep a swirl free finish you not only have to do everything you can to always use the highest quality products when you wash, dry, wax and wipe-off products from the paint and you also have to take ownership of the car washing process.

You can't take your car to a car wash and expect it not to get swirled and scratched.

And....Claying is easy, spray Quik Detailer and use the clay to remove the debris, fold over, wad it up (like play doh) and do another section, I do small sections at a time and it doesn't take much time at all.
