    ~ One man’s opinion / observations ~

To remove decals apply 3m adhesive remover and let it soak in; apply heat with a hairdryer (not a heat-gun) and with a ‘loop’ of dental floss or fishing line, place behind a pried off edge and remove.

Apply paint protection of your choice

    ~Hope this helps~

      Hi NVCobra,

Here at Meguiar's we commonly remove emblems off of our company cars. Once they are removed, we have to deal with the adhesive left behind.

We have tried many methods, and while most work, the best we found was this tool from Wurth.

      http://www.wurthusa.com/en/catalog/p...th=06.0150.jpg

This little tool attached to your drill makes it a piece of cake to remove decals, adhesive w/o damaging your finish.

Keep in mind, to always follow Mfg. directions...

Let us know how it turns out.
