  • New pads machine washable....which soap?

Looking forward to getting a full supply of pads on Tuesday. What soap do you folks like/recommend to wash the pads? Go ultra aggressive soap wise and use Dawn thus breaking down all of the stuff on the pads or something a little more friendly. I am interested to hear your thoughts.

We use Tide Liquid here at Meguiar's and it seems to work pretty well.

Might want to stick with a soap made for washing machines, something like Dawn my be to sudsy for a use in a washing machine.

I spray mine with Super Degreaser and rinse in bucket. Works great, releases all the product, and rinses very clean.

Don't know if its recommended by I have used it for 2 years and never had a problem.

Hey Todd, your refering to Megs Super Degreaser right?
Wanted to try that method out but afraid it might eat the foam.

          Thanks

Well I haven't washed the new pads yet, but since they are washable, I would wash them after every use. Washing them after every use would help prevent the pads from getting too soaked with product.
