If you have a West Marine, Boater's World or Camping World near you they should carry Meguair's M71 Canvas Cleaner. This is a very effective cleaner that doesn't need rinsing - spray it on, agitate lightly, wipe off. Once you clean up the area we would recommend applying Meguiar's M72 Canvas Protectant to help make future cleanups that much easier. You'll gain good UV protection as well.
