  • How do you dry without instilling scratches?

Just wondering how you dry without scratching the surface?
Given the car is just washed but I've been using "the absorber" for the longest time now and it seems ok but I was just thinking that most items like them are "plush" so any contaminates if you didn't would get caught on them and drug across the paint...

So how do you all do it? What do you use? Is there a microfiber "absorber" out there?

Hi. Water magnet so far is a good product. Its a waffle weave mf. good stuff.

Anyhow, what I do is to sheet the water off (either by using a hose or a watering pot (for gardenign), then using the water magnets, gently pat the surface. The air compressor is to blow water from all the tight nooks and crannies and again followed by the water magnets.

BTW, here a show video that might also help.

19:00 last part shows a good tip on drying the car.

    Hope this helps.

I tend to use the Water Magnet also.... even with a few sprays of a QD while drying.

I use the absorber to remove the majority of the water, then I finish off the drying using a marine water magnet for the paint and a regular water magnet for the glass.

I use my chamois (one panel at a time) and follow by water magnet

Cool, Thanks! So he used the Microfiber chamois first then the microfiber water magnet?
