The Gold Class All Wheel Cleaner is closer to our M36 Hi Tech Wheel Cleaner or our new Hot Rims Aluminum Wheel Wash. That's saying it's quite a bit safer and thus not near as strong.

Hot Rims Wheel Cleaner should NOT be used on polished aluminum, anodized aluminum wheel or uncoated magnesium wheels.

hello! sorry but i don't understand, the "hot rims all wheel cleaner" is not ok for all wheel?!? but then why meguiar's write that is for all wheel?!? i will use the product also on alluminium wheel but with magnesium nut.. you think that is possible that i have some problem? it' better to use "hot rims alluminium wheel cleaner"??? thank you!

I can say from experience I strongly discourage the use of ALL WHEEL cleaner. This is the harshest one they have.

It didn't hurt my wheels, but hurt the brake components.

Stick with a gentle one like Aluminum Wheel Clean and use more agitation to remove the grime.

All Wheel Cleaner is not acid based. However, it will be too strong for bare aluminum or bare magnesium.
