is color X same as cleaner wax

i just want to know the difference of color X and cleaner wax, which is safe and better to use in those two for black paints. thanks!

Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax is a light cleaner/wax, ColorX is a strong cleaner/wax.

If your car's paint has been neglected for a long period of time then get the ColorX, if it's in pretty good shape just needs some light cleaning then use the Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax.

Both will work on any paint system and remember if your car has a clear coat then you're not working on black paint, you're working on clear paint so it's kind of relative.

thanks mike, what i mean on black paint is would it help to make the color black more richer. Anyway, I just bought Deep Crystal system #1 - cleaner wax, i just want to know if its just the same as the cleaner wax? are these product has a diminishing power in it? and wouldnt they make my clear coat thinner? sorry for having a lot of question, i just want to make things clear, and getting to know this products...

Ok.. Little name confusion...

There is the:

Deep Crystal System Step 1 - Paint Cleaner

and there is the :

Cleaner/Wax

The DC#1 is a cleaner only, and yes, would likely do a better job cleaning than the Cleaner/Wax. But the Cleaner/Wax also polishes and protects.

ColorX is a stronger cleaner/wax, and would be similar to DC#1 in cleaning ability.

And no, none of those products are strong enough to thin your clearcoat.
