  • Car Cover Recommendation?

I have a 96 240sx that sits in my driveway for about 7 months out of the year because I go to school out of state. I live in houston, so it is very hot and humid most of the time, however in the winter it can get as low as 40 or so.

I was wondering what ya'll would recommend for a car cover?

I'd look at Covervraft... they have many models.

Also take a look at California car cover.

I have a Covercraft Noah. It fits the truck like a glove...I almost think too close. The little side pockets for the big mirrors is nice.

In my case, the cover is huge (Dakota 4x4 with club cab) so it does not go on and off easy and does not fold like people are supposed to do (fold to center and then roll). It can scratch the paint so you have to be careful.

Covercraft. Great covers, washable, and a strong warranty.

I've been to the plant at Covercraft- neat operation. Their stuff looks good. I have bought several covers from Cal Car Cover and like the choice of covers available. Different fabrics for different uses. The last one I got was custom made to fit my teardrop trailer, primarily to cover it in the garage to keep the dust out, but it is heavy enough to use in the rain to protect the wood. Have been super pleased with them. I say go with the one that gives you the protection you want. Not all covers are created equal!

Thanks for the recommendations, I'm going to check out both and I'll get back to this thread when I make my choice!
