  • Should I Wax My Car Again?

    last month i got my car professionaly detailed and they applied meguiars polymer sealant #20 with a buffer and i was wondering since its been a month do u think its still on my car? so should i wax my car again and which wax should i use that will last long? should i go with #21? whats better a paste or liquid?

    In short yes 20 will last a long time on any car and so will 21. If you do a search on this forum you will find that a lot of people depend on both of these products in the winter Mos.
    20 has some carnauba in it while 21 completely man made.
    Some people like to put a coat of carnauba wax over the sealant. A wax without a cleaner like 26 would be the direction that I would point you in if you wanted to do it. 26 last usually about 3 Mos. and it looks great on red and black etc.

    Otherwise wash it once a week and enjoy it. 20 will last all summer.

      Liquid or paste it doesn't matter on how long a wax last. Paste does go on better when your putting it on. While liquid is better when your taking it off the car. If you have a PC I would go with the liquid. But, some people have used a butter knife or the wrench that comes with the PC to lay the wax on the pad.
