  • How to clean bonnets, pads and MF towels?

    Hello,

I have a 9 inch orbital buffer and a smaller one I'm using more and more. While far from professional tools, these do the job for now and I usually do a lot by hand.
I always try to get the best bonnets I can get. I usually apply the products with the machine and remove by hand with a MF towel.
What would be the proper procedure to clean MF towels, applicator pads and bonnets?
In the past I just tossed them in the washing machine but I'm not sure if that's the right way to do it. If so, should I use cloth detergents?
    Any inputs?

    Thanks,
    Ismael

Me personally, I have a dedicated load in the laundry for detailing supplies. All MF towels, applicator pads and terry bonnets get washed with Cheer Free and Gentle detergent (dye and fragrance free) and get dried with absolutely no fabric softener. There's a setting on my dryer for towels and I haven't seen any lint yet!
