I bought one of the Meguiar's holiday kits this winter with the Hot Wheels wheel cleaner, but I can't use it on my Evo. I did a test spray, and it left some white marks on the calipers, so I went back to normal car wash soap and a brush. The stock pads dust big time, and using wheel cleaner will help speed things along. As anyone used APC on painted calipers without it causing paint damage?

Re: Wheel cleaner and painted brakes
We offer a product called Hot Rims Aluminum Wheel Cleaner.
This formula is safe for uncoated and polished aluminum, anodized, powder-coated surfaces and all brake components.
We would recommend this over APC.
