The other day, I was at PepBoys, and they had PlastX on sale. So I bought a couple of bottles, and threw them on the back seat of my '07 Mustang in the plastic bag.
Then I proceeded to drive over to the Carl's Jr. and left the car sealed up. This was this past weekend in California, with a heatwave and temperatures outside of over 100 degrees.
Needless to say, the bottles actually warped & melted due to the heat, and leaked all over the back seat of the car.
I didn't think it would melt that quickly; I was only parked for 10 min, just long enough to go in, place my order, have it set for "to go", and then back out to the car again. Unfortunately, it was too late to recover the stuff.
So, now I've got a white residue that has formed into the cracks & crevices of my cloth upholstery in the back seat...Anyone have any recommendations for getting it out?
