  • my car, an unwaxxed fate?

Hello, this is unbeleivable,it hasnt raint here in 4month at least,i finally broke down an bought all my detailing products, all ive ever done was wash with boyds shampoo an wax ocasionally, really nerer did it right..its a black 97 cobra. So i did my research here which has been great. I got Mothers clay kit/ScratchX/megs step 2 pure polish/an NXT tech wax. I spent 12 hours in the garrage, out of the sun, doing this all byhand, and this is just the scratchX ,polish, and wax. I got put in a pickle,my wifey has a convertable that leaks an hers "MUST" inhabbit thy garage! but i still lover her . So i just got my NXT on, one coat,my goal was to try to hurry an get everything done an waxxed before it rained. So we got hers back in the garage, mine "back out where it belongs" ,but i love her . So it rained of course. I read and found out that Mike said NXT should set an cure for at least 12 hours then u can apply a second coat. So i decided,ok,ill just get up ,rewash and QD the car an try another base coat of NXT. Got up (partly cloudy)an washer an QD it ...what did i see? Rain.. ..threw everything down and ended up here as we speak! What do i do from here??? ty

Carful Mike those boxes have a tendency of falling on us.

        Cobra
Where is her car when she's at work?
I want her job sounds like it never rains there. lol

If the NXT was rained on with in the cure time there will be a "chance" the lasting effect NXT produces can be compromised.
With the pollutants in the air I would not think a quick detail wipe down would be sufficient. A wash, dry and reapplying of NXT should do just fine.
