    Im not sure what this is, but I think its wax. I tried washing it and it wouldnt come out

    Using #39 or #40 would clean that up.

      Thanks to the advice of a couple of members I did the clay and three step clean, polish and wax, and the outcome is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, as I said in a previous thread, I am not into this as much as some of you guys, and just wanted and nice shiny black car. Soooo, I did not tape any of the molding, and as



      This is a dedicated cleaner that works pretty good most of the time for removing dried wax and polish residue.


      #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner




      That said, the dried residue in/on your door handles looks like it's pretty ingrained, it might not come out.

      A dressing after cleaning may help to turn the handle black again but you'll always have to maintain the 'look' by re-applying a dressing like one of these,
