I constantly read different threads where people use different compounds and theres allot. But for general paint defect removal, such as scratches stuborn water spots, acid rain, etc. Whats the most universal? m80 on a wool pad then a finishing foam pad? I know its a very general question but theres so many different choices. After doing wetsanding and buffing jobs ive been using the Solo system and love it, can I use the same stuff on a wool pad to remove the same listed above problems? I use a rotary by the way.

Re: General paint defect removal compound
#80 is a light cleaner/polish. But it can be used by rotary or PC (or hand), and with different pads. It all depends on the situation. Changing the pad/tool also changes how agressive the product is.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
