  • What Makes Black Texture Coat "Pop"?

I'm looking to add a detailed look to tubing coated in black texture coat (it's not a satin texture coat, but kind of a dull color that I'd like to add a little "pop" to). Any tips or product suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

hey mark it will be hard to assist without further explanation of the material. Any pictures or links to the item you are trying to detail?

This tubing you are refering to seems like it is power coated material. I need more info on the exact part on the car your refering to. If it is what I think it is, there might not be much you can do to restore it.

Is it rubberized like a bed liner? If so Id try HyperDressing or All Season Dressing.
If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.

It is powder coat on a push bar. It's brand new, so it doesn't need restoration, but it just looks duller than I'd like. It's not a super heavy texture coat, but it's rough enough where I'm hesitant to wax it out of fear it will retain residue. Thanks.

Your probably going to have to go with a dressing to get a little shine. Jokeman had some good suggestions.
