ive worked on em before and no paint transfer to my pad occured
Correct, as we've had multiple classes for the 350Z clubs and none of the cars we've worked have had a single stage paint system.
The how-to article we included teaches people how to check themselves and may help the member who posted this article and anyone whoever reads this into the future should they be working on a different car of unknown paint history.

I played around with the paint on my roommates black Z. The CC seemed rather hard. M105 worked great though!
I didn't have that problem with the Z I've done, I've worked only with 2 black 350z. But because I'm in another country maybe they use different paint? (we have the Japan made Z here) don't know you guys

I think the condition of the paint on the car I was doing was just beyond PC/G100's ability. I played around with my technique a little more and was albe to get good resluts with M80 and my PC. I just thought the paint was harder than the Honda's I'm used to working on which is what I was comparing it too.
