i spread NXT on my car and now im thinking i would look better if i put some number 7 glaze on her first, i must remove the nxt first again right? what may be my most cost and time efficient way of doin this so i can glaze than sealent, if indeed i have to.

    Re: reverse order

I would say you do not have to remove the NXT first. I would use the #7 and then go back again with NXT. If you wanted to start over again, I would use Meguiars Quik Clay kit and then #7, NXT. The clay will remove the NXT.

You also have not included a cleaning step.... what is the condition of the paint?

Me to i would just apply the #7 and then hit it with the NXT again rather than spending all that time and money redoing it. Just keep it in mind next time before you re wax. If its a daily driver it should be ready for a good clay and re wax within about 2-4 months depending on your surroundings and if its garaged or not

Murr is right. What is the condition of the paint your working on. It may be better to use the clay to clean the surface first, then use a polish and then NXT.

              Re: reverse order

If you used a cleaner/wax, then you may see more of an improvement. A cleaner/polish like #9 or #80 has a lot of polishing oils in already, so maybe not as big of a difference.

The color of the car matters as well of course; the darker, the more difference you may see.
