  • Best product for cleaning Mustang rims?

I've been using regular soap and water to wash the rims on my 05 Mustang GT and shine them up with regular car wax. It works pretty good except that it's hard to get in behind where the dust collects without taking the wheel off.

I'm not sure how familiar you folks are with the GT style rims that come with the Mustangs (similar to the rims on the new 07 Bullet Mustang).

What sort of stuff could I use that would be SAFE and still remove the dust and **** from my wheels?.

    Any info would be appreciated.

If you have the Bullitt style wheels, a wheel/spoke brush will work. I use it on mine everytime I wash.

For regular cleaning I use car shampoo, if they are dirty then I use Meg All Wheel Cleaner, a brush, microfiber and or a wash mit.

I could probably clean the wheels with a brush or rag, but it's difficult because of the discs and caliper in the way. I thought there might be something I could spray on and rinse off the brake dust with water.

Would the All wheel cleaner be safe to use on these rims?. I notice they've got some sort of cleaner that comes in a pink see-through bottle. I'm not sure if that's for polishing the wheels or cleaning them.
