I have never used a polisher before but do not want to continue detailing by hand. The swirls and spider marks are not going away, obviously I'm doing something wrong and need more help. Any recommendations on products and how to use?

Re: Polisher Recommendation
I would recommend the G-110 sold by Meguiars. Get yourself some M83, M80, and some M20 or NXT 2.0. You can probably also find some deals at autodetailingsolutions.com on the older version of the G-110, the G-100. They sell it in one complete package that will have everything you need to get started polishing to perfection.

Re: Polisher Recommendation
i agree get a g110. its a great machine. get yourself a few pads while your at it. i would say at least 2 w8006 pads and 2 w9006 pads. you can always get more pads if you would like. as for products #83 #80 #66 #9 seem to be the standards. this will give you multiple combinations for different types of paint. you should also pick up a quality wax/sealant. #21 or nxt 2.0 work real well for me. others have good luck with the cleaner wax or #26 as well. its all a matter of preference for you and what you trying to accomplish. give rick at autodetailingsolutions.com a buzz. hes a great guy and has some great deals.
