  • What Order To Use These?

These are the Meg's products I have:

    #20 Polymer Sealent
    # 7 Show Car Glaze
    #26 Hi-Tech Paste Wax
    NXT Tech Liquid Wax

Am I able to use all of these products together? If so, which order would I use them? If not, which would give the best results?
The car color is Mettalic Bronze. I clayed, precleaned and waxed it 2 months ago, so the paint is in pretty good shape.
I'm on vacation this week, so i while I have the time I want to give the car a really good waxing. As far as durabilty versus looks...can I go for both with what I have? I'd prefer to use all the product, but don't want to if I'm going to be "spinning my wheels" after a certain point.
    Any help appreciated

    Mike

Of the products you mentioned I'd use
#7 followed by NXT. I'd put the #20 on the shelf for now or pass it on to a friend or family member.

If you want the warmer look afforded by a carnauba do a test patch on your hood by topping one of the above combos with #26 and evaluate the results in different lighting. The optical change by applying #26 over a polymer sealant is subtle.

As far as I know both NXT and #20 have "Slight" cleaners in them. I find that the 2 products are very much alike But I don't expect the chemist to come out of there labs to dispute the difference. I have in the past used #20 and waited 1+hour and applied NXT and the results were the black darkened and deepened in shine a noticeable amount of difference. I do not want to get in to a "who's water pistol shoots further" It will come down to user preference on how the two products are used in what order on those two.

            #20 Polymer Sealent
            # 7 Show Car Glaze
            #26 Hi-Tech Paste Wax
            NXT Tech Liquid Wax
of the products you mention I have used all but the #26 and find that the NXT can be a stand alone LSP (last step product) After this weekend I will have a chance to try #26 or what ever as a topper on NXT.

            Hope this helps
keep of posted on how you do.

Thanks for the input guys. I've decided to go with NXT topped with the #26. Why? Because those two are already opened...lol. Haven't done my car with the NXT yet(did my fathers black car, came out great!) I think I'll return the #20 and #7. Those last two were recent purchases. I'm new to all this and I think I went overboard buying product! They all sound so good!
I've been going crazy since I've found out about this "level" of detailing recently, trying to figure out what would give me the ultimate shine and durability! I decided to go with just Meg's to simplify the process...but with all the products they have...not an easy task. Not complaining...it's all in good fun. I have a new hobby(detailing) and reading, learning, and debating about all these prod's is half the fun!
I'll go with this combo I chose until I'm a little better oriented with compatabilty issues and what will get me what I want the best. Maybe I'll try those other items down the road.

              Thanks,
              Mike

Mike, I agree with you completely. Too many great products and too many questions !
I dont know where I spend more time - on this site or detailing my car.
