Question about Meguiars Quik Out Carpet cleaner

Hey all,

Just a quick question. Is Quik Out meant to just spot treat stains, or can it be used to clean an entire interior as a maintenance product?

I have used it many times on different vehicles on all the carpet not just the stained areas and always get great results. I now use a mixture of OxiClean and Quick out and get just as good results. With the oxiclean its about 1 scoop of oxiclean per gallon of water and then i add about a quarter or half a bottle of quick out to my gallon mixture and put that into my spayer. It will last me about 3 cars to wear if i just use the quick out i will get about 1 maybe 2 cars out of the entire bottle. Plus the Oxi Clean is about $6 and will give you about 30 scoops or around there so in the long run i save money and get the same results.

I figured I could, but it doesn't say so on the directions on the back of the can. It only shows how to remove stains.

Yeah, even APC or APC+ can be more of a maintenance product since it would be cheaper overall.

Thats what I was thinking murr. That quik out is kinda expensive so I would lean towards using APC+(or APC) to clean the entire interior. I would probably follow that with the little green machine to extract all the dirt and stuff out.
