  • Corporate accounts for mobile detailers?

    Hey there everyone,

I had a question for those mobile detailers out there. I work for a pretty large company and our office is in a big office park with numerous office buildings in close proximity to each other. There is a detailer who sets up there several times a week and has more business than he knows what to do with. His pricing leans more towards volume mostly washes, but still. My question is do most detailers try to get an account like this, one or two days a week?If so, how would you go about setting one up? Do you set it up through the company or the property management? Who would be the contact, etc? It seems as though it would be fairly easy to do that's why I am so curious.. Thanks guys!!

    Hi Lance,

I've never set up an account like you describe but I worked for a guy when I was young that did this and he basically just called on businesses and found out who to talk to and give them his sales pitch, he had no fear at all of making sales call.

Kept himself as busy as he wanted to be.

Different cities and states have different laws and regulations about this, you want to make sure you know what these are as a part of making any decisions to try to set up this kind of business.

Here's a thread on our forum about starting your own detailing business...
