UQD After Gold Class

I'm gettting my 7UP Car ready for the show season. I have just given it two coats of Gold Class. Should I wait for 12 hours before giving it a final wipe down with UQD or can I do it right after removing the 2nd coat of wax.

In paper you should wait that long but in the real world it's very difficult to achieve.
What I do is, when I finish applying that coat of wax I put my car in the garage and wait as much as I can, before I go out I wipe down the finish with UQD for that extra pop.

If you want you can also wait till the next day, wipe down and remove the dust with Quik Detailer / Final Inspection / Last Touch and then use your UQD.

UQD is a quick detailer like QD, LT, FI, etc, so it can be used for light dust removal on its own.

The car is not going out of the garage, as I am getting it ready for a show coming up on the weekend. So the question is...would it be better for the wax to leave it for 12 hours after final wax removal before hitting it with UQD. My objective is to get the best gloss and enhance the shine.

For absolute best looks, you would want to:

- Wash, clay, clean, polish, etc...
- Wax, remove
- Let sit for 12-24 hours
- Dust, QD if needed. Apply 2nd coat of wax, remove
- Let sit 12-24 hours
- UQD if wanted. Plus UQD at the show as needed.

Also, have you tried any of the Nxt 2.0 yet? If shine is your goal, that should be pretty impressive.

That's the info I wanted...thanks.

I use NXT on the Mach 1 and love it. Still have another bottle of it left, so I won't be trying 2.0 until that's gone. I really like the Gold Class on the 7-UP Car, as it is a very Deep Emerald Green Metallic paint. The Gold Class works really well on it and the NXT seems to be perfect on the Azure Blue paint on the Mach 1.

If you have some time at the show, you should UQD it. It would look like you just waxed it.

I used the UQD this morning and I LOVE THAT STUFF!!! The paint is looking so good.
