Ok so i am getting ready to order my products from ADS, how does this look? Is there anything else i should order or anything i should change? I am detailing my flame red 2007 dodge ram quad cab w/chrome grille and bumpers. I am new to this and would really appriciate any input. Thanks

My only input would be to order more #80. 12 oz should get you started and use the 83 for more stubborn defects. Also may want to check out some Terry Cloths. They are handy for cleaning pads on the fly. I use the Costco bulk cloths and seem to work fine for what I use them for. I've read that the new M105 is a great product and I will order some soon so, keep that in mind but do your homework, it's a great product but needs to be practiced with.

    Other than that.....Looks Great!

I'd probably go for the 32oz. M80 and the 32oz. M83. You will use it a lot.

          Just my opinion.

Yea, the only thing I can think of at the moment is to get the 32oz of #80. You shouldnt need the full 32oz of #83 unless you have alot of bad swirls.

I got the 12oz of #80 and #83 to try out since I was a newb at the time and its only enough to do my entire Jeep once really. Ill be buying the full 32oz this summer sometime.

The recommendations for more M80 are spot on - it's a workhorse product that you will come to rely on and enjoy using.

Two other suggestions: 1) You can never have enough microfiber towels so you might want to increase your quantity there. It's amazing how quickly you can go through 9 towels! and 2) Since you're working on a modern clear coat finish you may want to investigate M81 Hand Polish rather than the M07 Show Car Glaze. M81 is designed for modern clear coat finishes and is very easy to use but still leaves a beautiful finish.

I was going to say that too and slipped my mind. I buy some here and there. I often print up partsamerica.com for my area (schucks/kragen/checker) and they honor the prices. Got some towels for 3 something a roll of 3. I have enough now that I don't run out during a detail of my rigs.

You'll like NXT wax, but I like M26-Carnuba and M21 Synthetic and I have some Gold Class that the wife got me. I also have some M16 (Thanks Kevin) that I have not tried yet. Was going to bust that out on the son's '66 SS paint Dodge D100 that is in need of some Meguiars magic.

Good start though. Before you know it, you'll have a ton of stuff. I had to build shelves for my stuff and not one negative response from the wifey. She even buys me stuff for birthdays and CHRISTmas.

You may want to pick up some more pads too. I plan on upping my pads and use them for dedicated products and mark them accordingly with a sharpie

                Have fun.

Besides agreeing on what everyone says. You say you truck has alot of chrome. How about some chrome polish?

THanks for all the replies it really helps. I have some cheap terry cloths that i got from VIP. I forgot about the chrome polish thanks. And i will opt for the bigger bottles of 80 and 83. I am going to try to post a pic of my truck maybe that will trigger some more ideas. I am trying to only order once for now.

Well i just placed my order with ADS and i have a couple more questions. I am going to wash, clay, use #80 for some scratchs and swirls and then polish and wax. My question is, is the 80 fine as a paint cleaner or do i need to use something like dc1 also?
Next, my truck has a linex spray in bed liner was wondering what you guys suggest to use to keep it looking its best?
                            thank you

                              Are you applying by G100/110?

As far as the bedliner, #40, or All Season Dressing would be fien choices. A wipe down with APC should be good for cleaning it first.
