I got a gallon of Hyper Dressing to try on a set of tires. I put some in a spray bottle straight up and it sprays out like light blue milk. It takes nearly an hour to clear up on the tires. Is that normal? All other tire shines I've used flow out clear. It does give a nice high gloss shine though.

Re: Hyper Dressing takes an hour to be transparent?
i think you may be using to much. I usually only use hyper dressing in the engine bay but i still don't have that problem. I know it comes out like a blue milk but even on the areas where i apply it thick it clears up within 10 to 15 mins. How are you diluting it?""Some of us will do our jobs well and some will not, but we will be judged by only one thing - the result." - Vince Lombardi

When you said you put some in a spray bottle, did you dilute it to one of the four recommended dilutions or did you use it right out of the gallon bottle? hyper dressing can be diluted anywhere from 1:1 to 4:1 for different degrees of shine. This is a highly concentrated product that like I stated needs to be diluted, otherwise you will be wasting product and not getting the true look you are after.

I would agree with the rest. either too much product being apply or dilution is too less.
in fact hyper dressing is not dedicated for tires instead for engine, wheel wellbut i just love this product !

Ive got mine cut 4:1 and it does ok. I like to spray it on a cloth then wipe it on whatever Im coating since it likes to 'blotch' up if I just spray it and walk away.Current Jeep: 2004 Jeep Liberty with stuff

I think you should be diluting it. That will most likely help. If you want something that doesn't need to be diluted, pick up some Water Based Dressing.
