We don't recommend it.

Usually the larger the size of pad you use on a DA Polisher the more power you lose for the cleaning step, it takes more power to move more foam around. Stick with the smaller pads.

While we do prefer people use the 6.5" pads on a D/A, keep in mind the So1o pads are 7" and our larger pads are 8"...

While people have used the So1o pads on a D/A with good results, we still prefer people use the 6.5" pads for best results, including user experience.

Like Mike said, the larger the pad gets, the less user friendly on a D/A they become....
