I agree, way to test, test and test till you found the best solution for now...

When we buffed out the Plexiglas windows on the Batmobile we actually used M105 with the G110 on that too... amazing product...

Good to see some older Big 3 steel still rolling.

Good thing for us car crazy people.

I will keep you posted on my metal. A lot of GM SUV's with these aluminum inserts in them.

Sorry for the off topic, but that truck reminds of a book I read. It was John Steinbeck's novella "Travels with Charley: In Search of America." In it, Steinbeck, writing of himself, commissioned the construction of a truck with a complete camper setup like the one above.

Nice job. However, it the trim piece really metal or cromed plastic? ( I am not sure, but I know many vehicles use this for cost savings and its easier to mold to the vehicles contours) If that is the case, that might be why it challenged you.

It looks like an insert (it appears to be all metal, not plastic chromed)and very easily scratched/dented (got a door ding on other side the wife had it last).

I just saw a Tahoe with the same trim as mine at our Walmart parking lot and the trim looked horrid and mine really shines.

I did a sun test today and the swirls are very minimal, so I may try D151 when it cools down next week, gotta work this whole weekend starting tonight Overtime oh yeah and overtime next week too!

Thanks for the compliments, with everything polished and nice (like Kevin said on that Tundra) it makes the whole vehicle look nice

I get a lot of different comments on the truck, ugly but cool, ugly, cool......

The camper is coming off, and a toneau cover put on (later) need to get her on the road soon, miss driving the old girl.
